1. Overview

 

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the Fout PowerGuard™ subscription service, provided by Fout Electric, LLC (“Provider”), for the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the Subscriber’s standby generator system.

 

By enrolling in this subscription, the Subscriber receives the benefits outlined below in exchange for a recurring monthly fee.

2. Plan Options & Benefits

 

☐ Basic Monitoring – $19.99/month

• 24/7 remote generator monitoring

• Automated alerts for faults and critical issues

• Annual system health report

 

☐ Pro Plan – $39.99/month

• All Basic features

• One (1) annual maintenance visit (oil/filter change, visual inspection)

• 10% discount on parts and labor

• Priority scheduling for service calls

 

☐ Premium Plan – $69.99/month

• All Pro features

• No-charge for service calls (limit 2 per year)

• Annual battery check and cold-weather prep

• 24/7 phone support during outages

3. Term & Billing

• This agreement is month-to-month unless otherwise specified.

• Billing is automated and will occur on the first of each month.

• Subscriber may cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice.

• No refunds for unused partial months.

4. Service Limitations

• Maintenance visits are scheduled during normal business hours.

• Service does not include major repairs, replacement of generators, or acts of God (e.g., lightning, flooding).

• Provider is not liable for generator failure due to manufacturer defects, fuel issues, or improper third-party work.

5. Subscriber Responsibilities

• Maintain internet connection for remote monitoring.

• Provide clear and safe access to the generator unit.

• Notify Fout Electric of any changes in contact info or generator status.
